(her) own air ticket. In order for the local organizing committee
to properly prepare the logisticals, we will appreciate participants
informing on their arrival and departure details to either of

4. Local transportation
The IGAC will coordinate transportation from the airport to
the hotel, upon participants' arrival. To this end, it is necessary
to inform the trip schedule opportunely to the persons mentioned
in numeral 1.
The local organizing committee will provide transportation
in the morning from the hotel to the IGAC and back to the hotel
in the afternoon.
5. Lunch
Lunch will be on one's own account; it is approximately US$
10 and the payment must be cash in Pesos. Lunch will be offered
at the IGAC.
6. Visa and medical insurance
When planning your trip, it is advisable to check with the
Colombian Embassy in your country for the entry requirements.
Visitors from some countries require a Visa to enter Colombia.
The processing and the cost, if there be it, is the duty of
each participant.
Likewise, the responsibility to have a medical insurance to
cover any medical or odontological event relies on each delegate,
as neither the IGAC nor the PAIGH has a collective medical insurance
for the Symposium.
7. Currency
The local currency in Colombia is the Peso ($). As of August
31, 2007, the exchange rate in money exchange offices is $ 1,780
for US$ 1. Credit cards are welcome in the majority of the establishments.
NOTE: Changing dollars in the street is strongly unadvised.

Electricity in Colombia is of 110 volts AC, 60 Hz. The electrical
sockets are American type, with two flan pins. For some electrical
