From November 1 to 3, in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, representatives of the Member States of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH) will meet at the 24th General Assembly to make important decisions, establish guidelines, and foster international collaboration, with the aim of continuing to promote the development of the geographical sciences and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the attendance of the authorities of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History, the 2023 Statutory Meetings of this specialized agency of the OAS began on October 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following days saw the 100th Meeting of Authorities, the 5th Joint Technical Meeting of the Commissions, and the 24th General Assembly, as well as the Dominican Congress of Geographical Sciences, all held in the beautiful city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
