The Pan American Agenda of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History 2023-2030 is within the framework of the
17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and of the Resolutions adopted by the United Nations Committee of Experts on
Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM).
At the same time, it also has foundations in the Charter of the Organization of American States and in the Sendai Framework for
Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, adopted at the third World Conference of the United Nations, held in Sendai (Japan) in 2015. It also interacts with the information issued by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) since 1988.
