International collaboration: PAIGH at the XXXIV Meeting of Ambassadors and Consuls
Cooperation in cultural and scientific development is a fundamental pillar of the PAIGH’s work with its Member States, especially with Mexico, the host country. Within this framework, Antonio Campuzano Rosales, Secretary General of this specialized organization, participated in the conference given by Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard during the XXXIV Meeting of Ambassadors and Consuls 2023.
Also present at the event was Dr. Salvador Percastre Mendizábal, Director General of the Latin American Institute for Educational Communication (ILCE), reinforcing the commitment to education and cultural diplomacy in the region.

The PAIGH strengthens its relationship with local authorities in Mexico City
Antonio Campuzano Rosales welcomed Eduardo Contro, Director of Development and Economic Promotion for the Miguel Hidalgo Mayor’s Office, to the headquarters of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH).
For his part, the guest offered the mayor’s office support in key areas, such as civil protection brigades, security, and cultural dissemination, among other services. He also highlighted the PAIGH’s work in preserving peace on the continent.
The objective of strengthening ties between the Institute and local authorities in the host country has been achieved.

Tax and labor compliance with specialized advice
The Secretary General of the PAIGH welcomed the team from the Cortés Accounting Firm, led by accountant Carolina Cortés.
This productive visit provided an opportunity for specialists to offer advice to ensure that this international organization complies with Mexican tax and labor regulations.

Visit by the President of the National Section of the PAIGH in Mexico
In accordance with the PAIGH Strategic Modernization Plan 2022-2025, and with the aim of strengthening relations with the National Sections, Mr. Antonio Campuzano welcomed the representative of the Mexican National Section, Mr. Jaime del Río Salcedo, in Mexico. It was an honor to provide accurate and precise information on the PAIGH activities carried out by the current administration.

IPGH in the Report of the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Mexico
The Secretary General of this organization attended the presentation of the Third Strategic Development Report by Judge Ricardo Sodi Cuellar, President of the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Mexico. This participation is part of the Institute’s efforts to strengthen ties with the host country.
